An A5 sized Lever (Boston-Tiegel) printing press. Perfect for a tabletop, weighing approximately 70 kg, painted black and in excellent condition. The machine was produced in Germany in the 1930’s. There is no manufacturer label as most German produced tabletop presses were not labeled.
The press is in perfect working order with rubber rollers that are in good condition. The machine has been cleaned and oiled. All small parts are in place and are functioning: The gripper arm, holders for the typman paper, even a pack of precut typman paper is included. The machine is maintained and can be used immediately.
The press was purchased from the late, Georg Kraus, founder of the Preussisches Bleisatz-Magazin, of Ratingen/Dusseldorf Germany.
