Cleaning a Morgan Line-O-Scribe

Hello all,

I’m looking for some help. I have recently acquired a Line-O-Scribe. Over all it seems to be in ok shape. It was sitting in someones shed for years with ink on it. There’s a little bit of rust but nothing too bad. I would like to take the roller off to clean the bearings but I have no idea how to go about it. Anyone out there with A Line-O-Scribe that can give me some input on how I should do this??

Would really appreciate the help.

I would try penetrating oil or mystery oil, i’ve had a couple of these and wouldn’t dare to take them apart, try oil before pulling parts off. Dick G.
