Maker’s Mark JMF
I have just acquired a nice outline tuscan wood font with the maker’s mark J.M.F. on the a’s. Can anyone tell me who this manufacturer was? Thanks - Leslie

It may be from J. G. Mengel Type Foundry in Baltimore, which was one of the original 24 foundries consolidated into ATF. Not sure if they made wood type or not.
