Indentify the Letterpress (Dutch Initials)

Looking for some advice as to the name of this type.
I have been told that they are Dutch Initial. I cannot find anything in any catalog, or website that I can compare them to. Anybody has an idea?? As to the origin, and what their value might be? (guess is ok)
Thanks
Daan

Yes, this face is named Dutch Initials and was issued by ATF. They are very elaborate and confusing to look at and identify so you will note that they also engraved what each letter actually is on the shoulder to make it easier for you. Your first two pieces are the letter A for instance. These aren’t exactly ancient and were sold by ATF from the 1920’s through the 1960s/70s. The value” is what someone is willing to pay for them. You probably have 2 sets since your photo shows 2 As and 2 Fs.

Opps, I should have looked before I lept. I just checked my 1912 ATF catalog and the Dutch Intials are shown in there.

Thanks Rick. Could be 2 sets, but only have 1 Q and 1 Z. So not really 2 sets.

Thanks

Daan et al: You might be interested to now that the ATF Dutch initials were available from the Dale Guild Type Foundry http://thedaleguild.com/ This was the successor to ATF & is still offering outstanding value in hard metal.

They don’t currently show it as available, & owing to the wear on casting machines they are usually casting only large quantities.
