Joy of Receiving a New Letterpress
Just received my totally restored C & P 6 ½” x 10”press. This is the most magnificent press I have ever had the pleasure to operate. Smooth as silk, it shows the attention to detail that Louis is famous for. And, of course, a little added touch by the master: he simplified the paper gripper mechanism to where its so simple and foolproof it’s a masterpiece. And the finish looks like the press just came from the factory.
Brilliant work, thanks. And the price was right too. Louis, you and Excelsior Co. are undeservedly getting beaten up right now, but remember Toyota last year!!!!!! See what I mean. Keep doing what you’re doing: providing the best presses available anywhere and at a very reasonable price, and you will be just fine. Many thanks, Donna
