This appears to be Excelsior Job Condensed, shown in The National Printers’ Materials Co (Brooklyn) 1887 Specimens of Enameled Wood Type. NPM Co. also showed two variations named Excelsior Job and Excelsior Job Extra Condensed.

Hello David - Thanks for the ID. Unfortunately I don’t have any other characters in this font. I purchased it with other wood type in a brass news galley at a flea market.
