Boxcar base question

I have C&P table top printing press (6.5x10) and I got a boxcar base (5x8.5 for platen press).
I ordered the plate from Boxcar as well for C&P table top printing press.
I set up today and tried to print, but the rollers stuck with base.
If I take out the base, the rollers moves smooth no problem.

I am wondering if somebody had a same problems and know some solutions.

I am wondering if I need to adjust my press.

I am sorry, I think my setting was not right.
My rollers move now. Thank you for your help! :)
