Kelsey & Co. - research project.

Research project about the Kelsey Co.

I have learned that the Kelsey Co. purchased their printing press iron castings (frame, chase, ink table etc) from a Connecticut foundry located 50 miles North of Meriden, Conn.

There is a certain uniqueness about these castings.

Does anyone know the name of this iron foundry supplier to Kelsey and/or the name of anyone who worked there who might still remember their iron foundry processes?

check with Alan at Excelsior Press, i think he has some of the old records from Kelsey.

Alan does not have this information.

The closest info is that the foundry was 50 miles North of Meriden, Conn.; home of the Kelsey Co.
