Flora Marilandica

This is a project involving four separate prints of Maryland’s wild flowers each dropped into a folded piece describing the flower and hand set in appropriate types. Each one essentially a printer’s (ever-so-tasteful) romp and (high) flourish by Steve Heaver at Hill Press. Mollie Ridout was the horticulturalist-historian. Chris Manson was the artist for the first two; Mike Gilbert the artist for the second two. Pen & ink drawings were printed from mag. plates. Twinrocker papers. Hand-coloured version: $145; un-coloured: $75. Inquire about details of plants.
