Letterpress + Book Arts Coordinator

This is a position at the Ringling College of Art and Design.

The Coordinator of the Letterpress Printing and Book Arts Studio will oversee the general day-to-day operations of the studio. Responsibilities include establishing and managing a centralized inventory; maintaining letterpress and binding equipment; and, formulating budget requests for new equipment, materials, and supplies. The Coordinator will work with the Vice President for Academic Affairs to develop and implement the Center’s policies and procedures and will act as liaison with the Director of Environmental Health and Safety and the Assistant Vice President and Director of Facilities to ensure the smooth operation of the program and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Safety regulations and other health and safety standards. The Coordinator will also facilitate the planning and scheduling of three master classes/workshops during the 2011-12 academic year. This position requires teaching one course each semester which is included in compensation.
