Help Accessing Value of a Press

Hi All!
I am printmaker that has recently branched into letterpress and am on the hunt for my own press. While I have become proficient at working on a functional Chandler&Price, I still feel that I lack the knowledge to evaluate a press visually. I have located one near me but am unsure of whether the press is worth the price and effort to repair it. I am mainly concerned with any obvious problem that anyone might see off the bat and how much it might take to get it up to good working order. The owner says it was in working order but the “cord broke.”
Any of your input would be so appreciated!

Where, specifically, are you (and this press) located? Once that is established, someone reading this post and reasonably close to the press’s location might be willing to look at and evaluate it for you.

Yes that would be very helpful…the press is located in Dallas (I live 5 hours away in San Antonio). I will be going to look at it soon- are there any specific questions I should ask or things I should look for in evaluating it?
