bookbinding: very nice press in San Diego; iron; nipping

I’m selling this press which I purchased earlier this year from Talas. It is in great working condition and is 16”x12.5”x12(daylight).

This thing is fairly heavy, so it’s available only for local pickup (in San Diego), or relatively local delivery, by which I mean that I’m willing to drive an hour or so away to drop it off, but will ask for $100 more on the price.

There is no maker’s identification, and I’m not certain of its age. It likely came from some now-defunct New York or East coast bindery. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I hope this finds a good new home.
