Paper and ink

I recently printed some invites for a friend and we ran into some inking problems at first I was told that lettra is horrible because the ink tack will pull fibers out, I am using rubber based Van Son. So I added trans white which seemed to help but sometimes the ink seemed almost “beady” see attached. So I guess my question is is there any comparable paper that is soft enough like Neenah Lettra that I can still get a nice impression if I want or something more I can do to the ink to get a more solid inking without hickeys? Example is attached. I am also curious if oil ink has this same problem?

Thank you.
