letter press classes for beginners living in richmond, va
I have a book of 54 poems that I would like to typeset myself. This requires I learn how to do it. I have never done letterpress but would very much like to learn because I am very involved in book making and book repair. I am looking for someplace/someone who can help me learn. Any information would be greatly and gratefully appreciated.

The Visual Arts Center on Main Street has letterpress classes. Their summer schedule has just come out at Visarts.org. If you want to come by and see what we have I will be there tonight until about 7:30.

There’s also the Virginia Art of the Book Center here in Charlottesville! It’s not too bad of a drive from Richmond.
