Worm & crescent for Vandercook presses in the UK
Speaking with Basil Head recently, he mentioned that he wished to get a worm gear, crescent & crescent holder machined by NA for a Vandercook SP. He needs a minimum order of ten, so I’m putting out the word – if anyone in the UK with a Vandercook wishes to put their name down, let me know.
Basil mentioned the cost is roughly about 200USD each, maybe… I don’t recall exactly: it may be cheaper.
But I suppose it’s better to have a spare than to be left with a broken press…
