Class? - Chicago
Hello all -
I’m in Chicago area and I’m very interested in taking a basic letterpress class. Does anybody have any idea where I can take it?
I think Columbia college is offering a class, but it was from January thru March. :(

I work at Columbia and yes, I think all of our LPI classes are over until the Summer or Fall, so stay tuned. If you’re anxious to learn you can contact me and we can talk about individual lessons.
Since you are both in the Chicago area, let me reiterate that there is going to be a tremendous type sale this weekend just north of Chicago in Zion, IL. Lots of type, presses, cutters, books, tools, litho stones and supplies will be on sale from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 3051 Sheridan Road, in Zion. This is a once-a-year sale and the type is usually extremely reasonable.
