Hi there! Does anyone have information about the exterior dimensions of Golding Pearl No.11 or No.3? Not the chase size, but the actual width of the machine? Narrow doors to my studio, I’m wondering if these machines would be my only hope of operating a floor model platen press. Thanks!
A No. 11 is a little over 20 inches wide assembled, you can get it through a door as small as 24” easily.
Two big guys and a appliance dolly is all it takes to move them as well.
Not sure on the 3, but they are also quite small as well.
It is possible to get a 10x15 C&P through a 28” door if you feel like taking it apart first. (I have a 10x15 in my basement I took through a 28” door.)
