Pearl

I am selling a Pearl Letterpress.
I was given advice via the Briarpress discussion forum that confirmed I have a Pearl No. 14.
I acquired this press in order to learn the skill, but was unable to budget time or finances to do so. I’ve had it in my garage since then.

This press is dirty. I was given the advice to only clean it up as much as necessary to use, but to not go overboard with degreasing and such as it could effect its usability. In essence, if it isn’t broke - don’t fix it! When I got it, I cleaned it up and tested it out and it works perfectly. I can only use it very crudely as I don’t know the ins and outs of the press.
It is not a bit dusty, but still in great condition.
The rollers are still on it, but I wouldn’t depend on their quality as I never stored them properly.
In essence, it is a great press with lots of life left in it.

This is a huge press. We transported it via a pick-up truck which we loaded using a skid-loader. This means that if you are interested in purchasing you must be able to bring appropriate gear to do so. One viable option would be to rent a truck with a lift-gate.
Currently the press is on two pieces of wood. We’ve moved it on flat surfaces easily using dowel rods to roll it. If you purchase it we will be able to help you bring it to your truck, and with the appropriate gear - which you must provide - help load it on the truck.
The press is located in my garage which is very clean so it is easily accessible.
I am located about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

Please note, there is a small motor in the photo attached which we successfully used to power the press. The motor is not included in this sale.

I am selling this press for $1,400.00 or best offer.
