Printing on a reproduction 18th century wooden Common Press. Built in 1994 from Smithsonian drawings. Press was displayed and demonstrated at Heritage New Hampshire for 10 years. Also built two reproduction wooden Blaue presses from late 1500s, currently in international printing museums.
Printed facsimiles of Declaration of Independence, an early New Hampshire Gazette edition, and other ephemera.
Currently interested in early American printing history and technology.
