I just purchased an Adana 5x8 and intend on printing alot of Lino/Wood block. I was wondering if I can use generic block printing ink to print or if I’m mistaken and letterpress ink is formulated for the sake of the press rather than type.
Thanks ahead of time.

I use Van Son ink when I print from type, lino, or plates. I use the oil based SonaPrint and Quickson. I have had better results on my flatbed press when printing from larger linocuts.
