Vintage Presses, free to a good home

Hawkeye Press is closing our Norwalk, CT. facility, and unfortunately must dispose of three older letterpresses. If you or anyone you know has interest please contact me (number below).

The machines are free, they are accessible either by street level or loading dock, and will be available until December 20th 2020 (more time may be possible, TBD). They are:

1) ATF Kelly C cylinder press - 17” x 22” max. sheet size (no rollers, used for diecutting)

2) Miller Model SU cylinder press - 20” x 26” max. sheet size
(no rollers, used for diecutting)

3) Miehle Vertical V-36 (no rollers, used for diecutting)

Both large cylinder presses were running as recently as a few months ago and are still under power, the Miehle a few years ago. The Miehle is on a pallet, the others will require machinery movers to remove. It will be difficult seeing them taken away for recycling, so hopefully someone will know someone that can put them to good use. I have the original operator manuals for each, and can provide operational instruction if needed (Kelly and Miller). And I’m happy to answer any questions!
