motor for platen press
Can anyone suggest a trusty but inexpensive motor for a C&P floor model (10x15 NS)?

Minimum: quarter-horse; good: half-horse; best: three-quarter horse. And always push the flywheel (away from you) when starting the press regardless of horse power. These motors are available from used appliances, flea markets, junk shoppes. In my opinion.
