Hi,
I dont have a heidelberg windmill……yet! But, typically what is the normal printing rate recommended for these (assuming it is in good maintain order and printing texts) ? Can it comfortely print 5000 impressions per hour or is that pushing it?
I’d think that’s pushing it. 5000 iph is almost 2 prints a second. I know our KS is lucky to do 3000 iph. I’ve never run a windmill personally though.
Every job will dictate its own speed, but that speed is rarely over 3000 iph. The windmill itself runs so smooth that it operates accurately at high speeds but it is usually unnecessary to push it.
