Where do I find the serial number on an Old Style C&P? Thanks in advance.

A long time ago I bought a 10x OS and I remember correctly, the serial no. can be found on the bed of the press (where the chase goes) in the upper left hand corner. Let me know if you find it there.

Thank you very much for you prompt reply……I found them! My serial numbers are 8700 and C6003, which I believe were made 1899-1900 and 1909-1910. Can you share any more information?
