Letterpress class in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa, AL

I’m looking for somebody to teach me the basics on letterpress using their press. I’m hoping to buy my first press soon, but want to take a class or two before I spend all the money on something I don’t know a lot about. The ideal class would be in Birmingham, but Tuscaloosa or the surrounding areas would work as well. Right now the closest thing I can find is in Atlanta and that just won’t work for 8 weeks in a row.
