Stephen Fry & the Gutenberg Press

I live in New Zealand and have heard good reports about the BBC programme “Stephen Fry & the Gutenberg Press”. I am wondering if it is available on DVD, or if anyone made a copy of it which they might be willing to send me if I cover expenses. I am involved in our NZ group ‘The Association of Handcraft Printers and I am sure it would be a good winter watch for one of our meetings.

It’s on You Tube in 6 parts; this is the first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Zqgs4iS76c

Yes I know it’s on You Tube, but I can’t make a copy off that, and the quality doesn’t look that good.

Well, you can easily and illegally download it via BitTorrent, though it might be close to legal in commonwealth countires…given the BBC’s public charter.

I would suggest contacting the production company: http://www.wavelengthfilms.co.uk/ or the distributor: http://www.tvfinternational.com/ . They might be willing to share or sell a tape, depending on what contract they have with BBC4.

Hopefully they will put it out on DVD. I would like to have a copy.

You should be able to download and burn a CD from this link
