Hammond Typefoundry?
As we have now closed down the Printing House Museum I have kept a representative selection of typefaces, both early and collectable. I was sorting through a pre-point size typeface and it is marked on the shoulder with the name Hammond. I have never heard of this foundry. I can put some pics up if it would help. The type is about 60pt (5 Line pica) and is a French Antique/Playbill sort of face. Anybody, anywhere shed some light on this?
