This identical model is illustrated in a woodcut in an 1899 ATF catalog. It has the Chandler & Price name ornately cast into the frame, and a fancy cast bronze name plate that’s very cool. And a feature that I’ve never seen before; a “divided” back gauge, which ATF says is for “squaring small work”. No breaks or welds anywhere. Surface rust easily removed, new never used blade, $300 value included with special attachment bolts! Please save this from the scrap dump as it must be moved by Aug 21 due to divorce.
