Rollers from American Printing Equipment & Supply?

I am on the hunt for new rollers for a 12x18 C&P. American seems to have new rollers, including cores, for under $300 for the set of 3. Seems like a steal. Trying to figure out if there is a catch! Anyone have any experience with rollers from APE?

I have a set of their rollers I bought about 6 months ago & they print fine. No problems with them at all. They are just slow about shipping out orders. The company has been around a long, long time. Good luck

Have not purchased from American.

I’ve purchased rollers from American before. They work great. Just a little slow on shipping, but if you tell them you need them right a-way I’m sure they will work with you.

Maggie,
Pleased to see that American is still around. I know someday I will have to replace my rollers. The ones I use are over 15 years old and admittedly they haven’t been used as frequently as they were in the past but I’ve used them a fair amount in the last year and they’re still terrific. Seems odd that rollers could cost as much as you might have paid for the press. Regardless of where you get your new rollers the two most critical issues to check are roller height by adjusting the trucks and that the press is level by adjusting the screw(bolts) on the platten. Thanks for the address.
