I have an older model Challenge Advance paper cutter. 19” opening blades are 24.25”. There are 3 blades which are all sharpened, have not been used since sharpening, and have plenty of life left on them (many more sharpenings to go…)
It is a “table-top” model. Not sure of its exact weight. I have moved it with 2 big guys and I have moved it with 3 smaller to average guys/gals. It is in the garage. Easily accessible.
It is solid and will work well. It just needs some tinkering though as it was out of alignment. I do not have the time or motivation to do that right now. It does have 2 welds, however they should not affect the workings. One is on the lever and it is reinforced with a steel bar. The other is one of the bars that hold the blade mechanism to the vertical frame.
Moving soon to a smaller house so I need to let it go. $100. I figure the blades alone are worth more than that.
Need to pick it up in St. Johnsbury VT. Sorry, no shipping.
