I have a press that I am trying to fix for a student Everything is there I think except for the gripper arms and maybe the gauge pins I am trying to make some gripper arms .Can anyone post some pictures or detailed drawings of them . The ones I have made seem to catch on the chase of the machine

Your grippers look pretty much like mine, which don’t catch on the chase. On my HQ the chase is about 6 points shorter (long ways) than the distance between the two screws that act as stops for it. I have a 6 point lead wedged in at the ink disc end to keep the chase from moving. If yours is like that you could try wedging the chase the other way — against the screw at the ink disc end.
