New Printing
I have finally decided to post some photos of my new prints. They were all done on a C&P Craftsman 14 1/2” by 22”. They were printed using carved linoleum plates and/or photopolymer plates that I processed on my homemade exposure unit. The paper is either Domestic Etching or a paper from the French Paper Co. The inks were Ideal Duplicator Ink, which is a combination oil/rubber base from MixMasters out of Lynn Massachusetts. The paper size is 11” by 17”, the image size varies. The prints are a series I have started based on old posters that were produced through the Works Progress Administration (WPA) primarily in the 1930’s and 1940’s as a program to provide jobs during the Great Depression. Any comments or questions are welcome.
Thanks, Robert
