You probably mean shipping a ‘printing press’? You just have to check out the archives here and will find some answers. Last year I personally shipped 4 platen presses and a galley proof press from the UK to France. It all depends from where to where you want to ship. Some people had good experiences, others not. Good luck.

Yes Thomas, I mean a printing press. I am looking for a floor standing press, either the c&p or the Golding. And I am in Hong Kong.

Is there not a chance of finding one of the British built presses in Hong Kong? An Arab platen press would certainly have made its way there in bygone days! As you can see here on Briar Press, some people had bad experiences with transporting their machines, either by companies or by themselves. If the press can be disassembled and crated that would be ideal. Or on a pallet, with a crate build around it. Insurance is important and should not be ignored.
