R Hoe Proof Press

Large “R. Hoe” Proof Press for Sale. The bed is 40” X 9 3/8” and it stands 38” high excluding the roller.

The base of the press is cast iron. The roller and the bed are solid stell. We believe the press was builit in the late 1860’s.

The press is is very good condition. It needs some cosmetics (cleaning, etc,) but there are no cracks or welds. It has been in our family since the 1940’s and it has been well cared for.
