?? red pump can??
I found several of these in an old print shop. Does anyone have an idea what they were used for? It obviously pumped some kind of liquid; maybe gas or diesel for cleaning up the press?

probably a fire extinguisher from the fourties , not unlike a contained stirrup pump without the stirrup.
