Linotype, wood spacers & cabinet, reid racks & much more

My dad has recently passed away and I am sorry too say but we have to find a new home for his beloved presses and equipment. I am also sorry to say I know very little about the equipment but I will try my best and if you are interested you are more then welcomed to come and check it out or send questions and I will try my best to answer them. All equipment is in a garage so it is pretty easy to move (no stairs). First off is a fully operational Linotype machine. He used it all the time but has not been on for approx. 2 years due to illness. I am sure it has pretty much if not all the bells and whistles. There are 2 Reid Racks I believe they are called for holding the magazines, which are pretty cool. 2 composing saws, at least 18 magazines and loads of mats. The best I can do is put up the pictures and if anyone could offer any help that would be grand.I also have a large cabinet filled with what I believe to be all different sized wood spacers. I hate to have to sell the things he loved so much but it seems even a bigger shame too let them just sit. He would want to see someone else using them and getting as much fun and joy out of them as he did. Thank you for looking and thank you for any help you can offer. Please feel free to contact me at anytime at 203-610-2778 or [email protected]. The items are all located in Stratford Connecticut. I am not sure if I can get the pictures to load up or not but I can send them too you if they don’t. Click here to view these pictures larger
