This summer’s trip to Northern Italy includes stops in Venice, Cornuda, Padua, and Verona. We will visit the Fondazione Cini to see incunabula, the Biblioteca del Seminario Vescovile in Padua to see manuscripts, and several other sites. The calligraphy and typesetting+printing workshops will again be held at the Tipoteca Italiana Fondazione, which has an unparalleled collection of wood and metal type from around Italy and Europe. Attendance is capped at 12 to keep the experience intimate, and everyone will return home with printed group and individual keepsakes, plus delightful memories of fine food, good wine, and the great company of fellow type lovers.
