I have a Challenge 305 H Series hydraulic paper cutter that I would like to see avoid the scrap yard. It was built in 1957 and would require some electrical savvy to get it working again. A little dusty, a little rusty, it otherwise appears to be complete and in good shape. These cutters were the workhorses of their day, so I have no doubt that once properly fettled it would make a useful addition to a printer’s or bookbinder’s workshop. Comes with an extra cutting strip and a few spare blades. It’s on a skid for the mover’s convenience.
