Able Printing (soon to launch Able Invitations) is a third-generation, family-owned creative printing and design shop that specializes in event printing, with a focus on weddings. We are in need of an seasoned Heidelberg Windmill operator with experience running both letterpress and foil for our fast paced shop in West Palm Beach, FL (experience working on other presses is a plus - we also have offset and digital presses).
The position will consist of printing everything from gala and wedding invitations, to greeting cards and stationery for our design-minded clients. The work is fast paced, challenging and always very detail oriented. Our clients expect perfection and so do we! Additional responsibilities will include press maintenance, paper cutter operation, tracking related inventory, quality control, mixing inks. For the right person, there will be room to grow in the company.
We are looking for someone who is talented, confident, organized and willing to learn. Communication is key in our multi-person pressroom, as well as keen attention to detail and good decision-making. Many of the projects we produce have several pieces, so it is important to perfect each piece, while being mindful of the whole package.
If you think you don’t have enough experience but are passionate and dedicated, we would be willing to train the right person.
