Smyth #12 (circa 1928)

Here is a question for those of you that bind as well as print limited edition books. Does anyone out there know a supplier for sewing needles, punches, and hooked needles for a Smyth #12
thread book sewing machine. I know a lot of library repair labs are still using these. They are a simple and functional tools and smaller than the new sewers.

I think these folks still make and sell them. My Smyth has been in mothballs for years and I haven’t purchased from them recently, so I can’t be sure.

Diamond Needle will have needles, hooks and a few extra parts for the Smyth 12 and most other book sewing machines
