New Book on Stauffacher’s Wood Type Prints

I know there are some Jack Stauffacher fans here, so I thought you’d want to know about the book Letterform Archive is publishing about his wood type experiments.

Written by Chuck Byrne, with contributions from Jack’s collaborators and collectors, and featuring meticulous reproductions of Jack’s prints, Only on Saturday is the first book about this personal work he did on weekends. The deluxe edition includes a portfolio containing 10 offset facsimile prints and 10 letterpress wood type proofs created with Jack’s actual wood type.
