Jet A2 Photopolymer Platemaker

We’ve seen these listed and sold on Briar Press for as much as $6000, but this is a highly negotiable price and up for discussion

All electrical, bulbs and brushes are intact.

Perfect KF95 plates for letterpress were made using this machine in workshops in 2020. The machine has since been drained and has been sitting idle since pandemic times.

Aside from some light dirt and build up on the outside surfaces, the machine is in great shape and ready for a new home where it can be used to its full potential.

Reason for sale:

The Open Press, a non-profit community letterpress and book arts shop, is moving to a new shop space and therefore downsizing. We’re looking to sell a few larger items that have seen infrequent use over the past 5-10 years. We’d use funds from these sales to build our collection of type and support programming like public workshops, art shows and events.

We have a large pull-up garage door on the ground level and a truck can back directly into the shop and up to the items for pick-up.
