Pre-WWII Heidelberg platen press with working rollers and paper feed.
The exact year this machine was built is unknown - but with the original markings (SG insignia referencing the original Schnellpressenfabrik AG Heidelberg make) indicates it was made a pre-WWII.
I have owned the machine for approx 9 years and it has remained in the same location as pictured for that entire time. I purchased the machine from a working print shop based in Balmain, Sydney. It has been a great machine for me to learn how to operate and print letterpress on a windmill platen.
The machine is production ready with working ink rollers.
The flywheel runs on a single-phase electric motor.
