Goudy doesn’t give it much of a history in his catalog, and calls it “a clumsy form of Lombardic Capitals.” Looks like very early 1900s by the sequential number he gives it (13). It was apparently sold by ATF.
Concerning Caxton Initials,
McGrew does not show the ornamental leaf that should be included in the smaller fonts. Yours does not show it either, so I would say that the fonts are incomplete. Many times those ornaments were removed and used in other jobs not using the initials.

Goudy Caxton.
Are you interested in selling any of it?

Thanks for replying! Not interested in selling right now, but thanks for asking.
