Gordon Press quad ink plate

Has anyone ever encountered this Arveson quad ink plate for two-color printing on a Gordon press. I saw this in the “New Ideas in Printing Production” column in the Feb. 1932 issue (page 51)of The Graphic Arts Monthly.

Looks like an interesting contraption. Maybe someone has pieces of this and never knew what it was for.

Never seen one, although I’d very much like to acquire one. I believe C&P themselves had a version that they advertised. Much like the vibrating roller/rider roller. There are 3rd party options and options from the manufacturer.
