Gordon Printing Press & Paragon Paper Cutter

Antique standing Gordon Press, chase size 8x12. It has a motor (not currently attached), and the original foot treadle, which had been removed, is also included. There is a chip or two in the gear but does not affect functionality. Plate is smooth. Comes with an extra chase. Wooden counter has a little drawer.

(I also have a ton of paper and envelopes from a letterpress printer friend who moved across country and was sizing down, if you want those.)

The Paragon paper cutter looks like it was repaired at some point, but seems strong and functional.

I bought these as a set in 2015, the dealer who sold me these assured me they both work and were tested; I just never had the time to devote to updating cutting blade or rollers, attaching the engine, etc. … It’s time to give up the dream, sadly! We need the space back. I don’t know more about how these function, but this was the third press I looked at, and was by far in the best condition.

Each is now on a rolling platform which are included if buyer wants them.

Machines are on ground floor. Happy to share tips we used for moving them.

Local pickup only, near Chapel Hill, NC.

Asking $1500 for the set
