Flywheel Key For Golding Pearl no 11 improved
The flywheel key is broken roughly in half on my Pearl no 11. Only ½ is connecting the flywheel to the gears. Photos below of the flywheel on the press, the ½ key in the groove, and the broken end of the key. How do I measure to ensure I get the correct size to replace it?
The remaining piece of the key looks as if it has been compressed and scored, possible from use over the years or, I’m guessing, someone removing the flywheel without the proper equipment to do so.

It looks like you got the flywheel off and the remainder of the pin is in the shaft? If so, you could probably order a “gib-head” key from McMaster-carr.com. measure the width, height, and length. It is probably a standard, stock size.
