Moving a letterpress shop

Friends,
Frequently, folks on Briarpress ask about the best way to move a press or a complete shop. Over the years, I have moved a number of shops and learned a few tricks along the way.
I made this short video when we moved the Southpaw Printers from one house to another. It took a reasonable amount of prep, but made moving day a piece of cake.
You can see this and other letterpress-related videos on our YouTube channel or at SouthpawPrinters.com

Wow, thanks for sharing this and your channel! Seeing the whole process visually is quite helpful.

I am in the process of moving all my “stuff” now.
I’m fortunate to have a strapping setup and stretch wrap.
I also was ground level.
I put everything on skids, wrapped it and strapped it. Then used a pallet jack on to a lift gate truck.

New space has a loading dock so it was easier to unload.
