Beautiful original Hamilton quarter-sawn oak type cabinet, manufactured circa 1937. This cabinet has been lovingly cared for and retains its original character, including the original Hamilton manufacturer’s placard with serial number. The original finish has been carefully preserved, with minor touch-up to a few faded areas.
The cabinet features two fixed slanted composing shelves designed for holding type cases while setting type by hand.
