Kelsey 5x8 questions

I have a Kelsey 5x8 that I’ve had in storage for some time. After seeing the prices on some recent eBay auctions, I think I’ll clean it up and sell it. It was purchased at an auction from a library and came with two(!) chases.

It has some surface rust, which is so far easily coming off with vinegar and lemon juice.

Im torn between just cleaning the rust off and completely dismantling it and repainting, and getting new screws and suchlike.

Would it be more valuable simply cleaned and oiled, or completely restored with shiny paint and new hardware?

Also, it came with the original Kelsey brayer. The brayer needs a new roller. Is it worth it to have a new roller cast for the brayer, or would that be a waste of money?
